LOVE, A GIFT
God created everything and is also the origin of love. In God's perspective, love means being ready to sacrifice your life for someone.
It can be so easy to get wrapped up in the sweet celebration of love for each other that we forget where all this love really came from.
We love each other because He first loved us. — 1 John 4:19
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be just about us. If we are as intentional about loving Him as we are about loving each other, the whole day can still bring glory to the Creator.
Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. — James 1:17
Love is a discipline. Jesus said, "If you love me just as I have loved you, keep my commandments."
God has shown us his love, so we must keep to the discipline of love. If u don't do so, it means the love of Christ has been abused.
Some will say, "I LOVE YOU", but don't know the meaning, nor understand what love is. To many love means exploring our sexual desires and that is why a lot of teenagers, youths sees valentine day as a license to fornication and all sexual activities.
John 3:16 is the central message of God's love to us. How many of you love God? How many of you can sacrifice your life for him?
Valentine’s Day is a special day to express love but God’s love is on-going, for all times.
Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to send cards to people we like but God’s love is unconditional, available to all.
Valentine’s Day is a token expression of how we feel about others but God’s love is sacrificial, giving of oneself.
We can honour God even while we celebrate Valentine’s day. Since it’s a day that has been globally recognized as lovers day, while celebrating we should remember that God is love by Making a list of the ways He has shown His love to us.
Every single one would be perfect for Valentine’s Day because you’re sharing God’s love with those in need.

Be His hands and share His love with someone else.
Love is a verb. Love your loved ones. Go out of your way to serve and celebrate them today. Do something special for your spouse. You don’t have to go all out, but let your family see the love of Jesus reflected through you.
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you should love one another. — John 13:34
L – Limitless
Love can’t be measured.
O – Other-Centered
Love always seeks the best for others even to the point of sacrificing for them.
V – Virtuous
Love is full of integrity and goodness and always has pure motives and intent.
E – Enduring
Love never ends.
