MOTIVATED YET STAGNANT
"Bud, can I confide in you?
Gab asked a few minutes after she walked in looking exhausted.
Bud, I feel most of these Motivational Speakers and books lie to us.
I read them most times, you can attest to that.
"yeah sure... I'm attentive"
Yet it seems not to be taking effect in my life.
How sure are we that they are telling us everything we need to know?
Gab said staring while expecting an answer.
Bud stared too, wasn't sure if it was a question or statement.
To avoid an awkward silence, Bud settled for the former.
"Well Gab, truth is... I'm yet to get your point.
What exactly is the issue, is it that you don't believe them or that you find their stories untrue?
"well, I'm not sure.
I feel they are blowing it out of proportion.
I've been following their update and reading every recommendation
Yet my success story seems far away.
"Gab so you listen to motivational speakers and then do what?
I asked. "Do what?
"How do you utilize it, please?
I'm trying to know the bone of contention.
Motivational speakers or books aren't meant to bring success to your door post
It directs your path, gives you principles and other nitty-gritty you need to get to your zenith.
It's not a get rich quick scheme Gab...
These guys share their story with you so you learn from them.
"So you are saying that my reading isn't enough? Gab asked.
"Not really, what I'm saying is, it's not just about reading but converting what you read, the knowledge you amass. How well have you applied them physically?
Action is the deal.
It's not just about reading but consciously implementing it.
We have lots of Gab out there.
To attain that zenith, some Price needs to be paid.
If success were to be as easy as reading a book, then many would be there.
We have 4 phases of success.
1.The Humble\beginning stage: most times difficult, I sometimes call it the registration phase.
2. The making process: many don't like this stage because they find it tedious. while some throw in the towel. Every successful person today went through this phase, the preparation phase.
3. The harvest phase: I call this the enjoyment stage. This is a phase where you get the sweet from your sweat.
4. The Continous growth phase: yeah don't stop growing. Continous growth sustains your achievement.
Don't just stay motivated!
ACT!
CONVERT WHAT YOU KNOW!
Interesting read.
