MY DOMINION DOES NOT END IN THE CHURCH

So after much deliberation, I decided to share this story …finally!

Sir Felix and Mr. Caleb, my interesting neighbours. The former (Sir Felix) a well-to-do business tycoon but a pharmacist by profession while the latter, a lecturer in a prestigious university.

They are both Christians, learned yet different in values, and stand in regards to business, politics, and societal issues.

Out of curiosity, I decided to visit them… yes I need to feed my curiosity.

Mr. Caleb’s insight on how he lived his life while preparing for Christ 2nd coming portrayed the picture of a religious man, should I say a step away from being a fanatic.

He believes Christians shouldn’t get involved with political or societal issues because it is worldly and likely to divert their heavenly focus, do not be yoked with unbelievers, he said.

He believes the world isn’t his so he left the affairs of the world to be facilitated by the unbelievers, I was Shocked.

As Christians, are we not meant to take charge and call the shot?  I asked.

He smiled and said ‘we are called to pray and fast for a better society while living a holy life for Christ.

Still in doubt, I visited Sir Felix.

‘I need you to do me just one favour, please explain Genesis 1: 26’

Sir Felix said few seconds after I asked for insight.

I was a bit puzzled but I brought out my phone still and scrolled to my bible app.

I read and paused for him to continue.

I said EXPLAIN!  He emphasized EXPLAIN.

I gave the explanation I had in mind, he listened quietly and didn’t move until I mentioned DOMINION.

‘That is the word DOMINION!  You have said it all.

Christians are meant to take charge not just in the church but the society at large. We should lead here on earth for Christ.

We as Christians need to be the light where others will see-through, it is an error when all Christians do is pray and fast while unbelievers call the shot, we have given out our birthright long enough.

We pray, fast, have the best manual yet we are weak when it comes to implementing physically.

As Christians, we need to convert what we know, what we amass spiritually to physical, many Christians lack the insight of conversion.

We lack physically because we play religion, failing to take cognizance of the actual purpose “Have Dominion over the earth.

When a Christian leads in any sphere, the difference will always be clear, growth will be built in godliness and the sphere will thrive, unbelievers will see our light and be influenced.

How well are we as Christians striving to take lead in politics, media, entertainment, education, business, and every other sector?

Things are going wrong because Christians decided to set back and watch instead of acting.

We have many MR. CALEB's but few SIR FELIX's in our church today.

Let’s not play religion but take dominion not just in the church but the world at large!

Convert your Spiritual knowledge physically!

Take dominion!

    Well said, Christians should also not be afraid to dominate physically because of someChristians who have failed & disappointed in that space. There are so many Christians also dominating physically.

      Yes we should not be afraid for God has not giving us the Spirit of Fear but of sound Mind.

Death laid his hands on Jesus. It put Jesus in a tomb. There was a stone in the mouth of that tomb and the seal of the Roman government was placed upon that tomb.
