Simple Ways to Make Social Media Work for Your Business

Image
In social media, you must not only engage but also engage consistently. The key to building meaningful relationships is to join the conversation. By reaching out to people in your community and responding to their comments, you can set the agenda. Pick one platform to start with, whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, or another from the growing list of choices. Learn a little about the channels before you decide. They do have different characteristics and are therefore somewhat different in how you can best present yourself. For example, LinkedIn is more popular in the business world and has a very large international following. Meanwhile, Instagram is more visually oriented. Twitter is very newsworthy, with quick comments and responses, and Facebook has many businesses, but the approach is more social. Each also has slightly different user demographics. Most important, find out which social media platform is the one your customers spend their time on -- because that’s w...

HOW WELL DO YOU FEED ON THE WORD OF GOD?

Image
Growing to maturity in Christ doesn't start in a day, it kicks off from being a babe that needs sincere milk to an adult that eats bone. Many Christians become cold in this generation before getting to their spiritual maturity which is an error that must be corrected. Christians now ignore the word of God which should be a light to show us the right path to take and remind us of the rules and laws protecting our kingdom race. The word of God is a blueprint to the Kingdom, just like an athlete that doesn't neglect his/her fitness track, a Christian should never be too busy to build that sincere relationship with God. It is not enough that you go to church or serve as a worker in the church. While some will rather believe what Papa (The pastor) says than what God is saying through His word.  I am not trying to say you shouldn't listen to what the preacher is saying, but that you need to understand what God said in His word for you to be able to know when the preacher is going...

HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT PARTNER.

Image
Many dive into marriage with little or no knowledge of the main purpose behind the union, while some get into the institution, either due to pressure coming from family, peers, or even because others are getting MARRIED and don't want to be left out. All these and more are many reasons why people get married. First, before walking down the aisle with anyone and as Christians we need to know God's purpose and plan for marriage. So, what is the main purpose of getting married? People get married for diverse reasons which include companionship, procreation, pleasure e.t.c BUT God's purpose for marriage centers on: Producing Godly heritage : always take into consideration the partner you desire to spend the rest of your life with. When choosing a partner, choose one you will raise godly offspring with. God wants us to perpetuate holiness from generation to generation, he wants an extension in his kingdom. Enabling us to become ONE:  God wants us to know the importance of being ...

THE ROLE OF MEDIA IN THE CHURCH

Image
In this century and age where everyone is going tech-savvy and the media world is becoming the trend and call, how well is the church utilizing this platform to spread the gospel of Christ?  How is the church taking over the world using the online platform which is the major trend and call in this age?  These are questions that Christians and believers need to answer in the quest to bridge the gap.  The media of any firm or organization is the marketing department. They practically act as the middle man in any firm and extension in church.  The first question JESUS asked in Matthew 16: 13-19 is very key…. Who do people say I am and in extension who do the media say JESUS is? What do the media portray of CHRIST? What picture do the media paint of Christ? With the fast growth in the media world today, there are lots of contents and wrong expressions that are against the doctrine of the Bible which in turn gives the Lord a bad name which we as Christians need to pay cl...

MY DOMINION DOES NOT END IN THE CHURCH

Image
So after much deliberation, I decided to share this story …finally! Sir Felix and Mr. Caleb, my interesting neighbours. The former (Sir Felix) a well-to-do business tycoon but a pharmacist by profession while the latter, a lecturer in a prestigious university. They are both Christians, learned yet different in values, and stand in regards to business, politics, and societal issues. Out of curiosity, I decided to visit them… yes I need to feed my curiosity. Mr. Caleb’s insight on how he lived his life while preparing for Christ 2nd coming portrayed the picture of a religious man, should I say a step away from being a fanatic. He believes Christians shouldn’t get involved with political or societal issues because it is worldly and likely to divert their heavenly focus, do not be yoked with unbelievers, he said. He believes the world isn’t his so he left the affairs of the world to be facilitated by the unbelievers, I was Shocked. As Christians, are we not meant to take charge and call th...
